Logilink Usb Serial Driver Windows 8
I have a Lenovo desktop without a parallel interface and I am running Windows 7 Home Edition 64Bit. I have bought the USB to parallel interface cable from Logilink to attach a parallel printer to the computer. When I plug the USB interface into the computer it automatically says USB2.0-Print with the exclamation mark signalling an error. Windows update pulled the current driver, printer is compatible with Windows 7, but after adding the printer to the list it does not print.
Al i get then is an error in the message cue. Thanks for any help, Oliver. Let´s see: >>With the computer on done >>and the usb adapter cable plugged in to the computer, make sure the printer is off done >>Jamo Cinemaster Manual more. and plug the usb adapter cable in to the printer. Done >>Windows might install it then, nothing happens/happened >>Download Free Software World Of Warcraft Damage Hack 2.4.3. if not then turn the printer on. Done, nothing happened >>Hopefully, windows should install it. Nope >>Make sure your internet is on in case windows wants to connect to the internet in order to install it.
Let it do its thing and see if it installs. All according to your suggestions, no reaction! Any other idea? I guess this isn't going to be short and sweet, huh? Go into device manager and see if there are any yellow tags or x's on anything in there. What exactly does the printer error say? How this works is that the cable has to be installed first by itself, which you did.
LogiLink® USB 2.0 to Serial Adapter, 9+25 Pin. USB 2.0 to Serial Adapter; Connector 1: USB A male; Connector 2. With Windows 8 support; Order Id: UA0042A.
The cable has a chip in it and has to be installed as hardware. Then the printer has to be installed with the cable attached. So, what you should try to do is uninstall the printer, (not the cable) and get the printer out of the printer list. Look in programs and features and uninstall it from there. Then with the cable and printer attached, reboot.
